RE: All Sites MSN IM Service is down

it's funny how our callcenter world is crippled simply because IM messenger is down. Advisory: MSN has confirmed that the issue is with their part and not with local IT.. that's a relief.. atleast we know who's screwing things up.. i guess having been used to the convenience of an instant messenger to send messages to anyone in the room at the blink of an eye.. yep! even to the person right next to you. so now i feel so inefficient because i don't have the trusty IM to send my messages to everyone and anyone. now how do i give realtime instructions to my agent sitting next to me? *gawk*
remember the good old days when we had old school messenger named mang bhong or something. during the era when the mang bhong's thrive in the office environment.. you can trust mang bhong to send any message to anyone.. and even buy you turon on his way back. it's sad.. maybe they should work to have that added into the IM service soon.. File>Option>Buy turon on your way back.. wouldn't that be the coolest thing. whatever your messaging platform is.. be it YM or lotus notes or what have you.. it will almost but not quite beat the dependability of a mang bhong around the office.
"Mang bhong! pasabi naman kay ser na mail ko na yung mga papeles.."
"..tapos mang bhong pa mail naman nitong mga papeles pag balik mo.."
now i ask.. can any instant messenger service be as reliable and trustworthy as mang bhong?
